Attestation of the document is prepared for ensuring the
legality of the document. When you are the holder of a document it is
understood that you are the real authority of the document but it is not for
all time the case. Occasionally, in the court of law, it is necessary for the
citizen of India to authorize it in the course of claiming their signatures or
handwriting. The main intention of the attestation of a document is to approve
it.

- Notary Attestation: This type of attestation of a document is the main basic form of attestation for any type of legal process and it is also the primary step towards attestation of a document. It is mainly done through a signature that is obtained from a local notary.
- Home Department Attestation: This type of attestation is generally associated with attesting personal documents which are to do by only authorized personals which consist of a death certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.
- Embassy Attestation: This type of attestation is made by respective foreign countries to confirm the legality of their documents. For instance, if an Indian is traveling to Foreign countries, then at the coming the documents of his identification will be checked by the concerned countries embassy.
- Apostille Attestation: This procedure is performed by the Ministry of External Affairs for those who are members of the Hague Convention. It is prepared for personal documents like marriage, birth and death certificates and also educational documents like degree, diploma, etc
